FOOD BANK FILLS CHILDREN'S LIST, NEEDS MORE FOOD

Yavapai Food Bank made sure every child on its list received a warm coat and a toy this Christmas, but the wishes of many other children on the overflow list went unanswered.

"The Sponsor-a-Child program went really well," said Vicki Sandoval, administrative assistant at the food bank. "We made sure the ones on the list that did not get sponsored by community members all got a jacket and a toy whatever we had that was surplus at the time."
